Cappellesso and I grew up together and when she decided to come and visit me in California, I was thrilled not only because we were best friends, but because she was one of the most talented photographers I had seen and I've never had pictures taken of me and my husband before (besides on our wedding day).

 Cappellesso could not be in our wedding so when she suggested we do a couples session of us both, I was thrilled to be able to have that kind of memory as newlyweds.

From our first discussions of how we should do the photo shoot all the way through the actual day, Cappellesso had been an impeccable communicator and promptly answered all of our questions as they popped up. 

Cappellesso had a vision to photograph us in a unique place so she researched tons of places until she found Castello di Amorosa which is a medieval inspired Tuscan castle and winery in world famous Napa Valley. 

This castle is impressive and beautiful and we utilized every minute of our 2 hour photo shoot.

Cappellesso waited for the perfect natural lighting, thoughtfully composed each shot and more importantly, she made us feel super comfortable and engaged.

 And how did the photos turn out? Amazing! My husband normally hates photos of himself, however, he easily found 20 shots that he loved. And I? I loved every single one of them! Our friends and family raved about the photos and everyone asked, "who is your photographer? is she local? can I have her number?"
